Swimming Data Year 4 (2018-2019)

1. Swimming at least 25M unaided, competently and safely – 12 pupils out of 30 (40%) could swim confidently, competently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25m.
2. Range of different strokes– 8 (26%) pupils could effectively use front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke.
3. To develop confidence in water, and how to rest, float and adopt support positions – 100% could demonstrate confidence in the water.
4. Perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations– 87% pupils could demonstrate safe self-rescue.
